How to relink InDesign files across subfolders.
Relink to Folder looks in one directory. Nested libraries need a recursive search.

One folder at a time.
In the Links panel, Relink to Folder reconnects files whose names still match, but only in the folder you choose. If images live in nested folders, flatten the library first or relink each missing file by hand.
02 / WHEN THAT ISN’T ENOUGH
Production folders are nested.
A typical job keeps assets in campaign, language or chapter folders. Flattening that structure just to relink is messy. Walking the Links panel one file at a time is slower still.
